SO SHY
This song titled So Shy was written for my daughter about her shyness with a young man that would come into the restaurant where she worked and how she dreams of how her life would be with him.
Harley Girl
Harley girl was written about a trip I took to Mexico in my early 20's and ended up on the back of a Harley with a guy from Australia, along with my friend and two other really nice biker guys from California. They invited us to take a trip through the interior of Mexico from Puerto Vallarta to Gaudalajara. Along the way we were high in the mountains in the middle of nowhere. It started to thunder and rain so we took shelter at a roadside cafe with a bar across the street. The driver of the bike I was on proceeded to drink a little too much and even with my attempts to sober him up, we ended up in a ditch. The song is not told this way, but depicts the life of a girl on a Harley, alone in Mexico. The song was recorded and fine tuned in the living room of my musician friend Peter Giardina and he kindly put the video together for me.
